Temporary Service Halt

*Update* As of April 3rd, 2020 we are temporarily halting service for the next two weeks. Message from Management: "Dear Green Village Recycling Customer, We hope you are safe and well. We are informing all of our customers that Green Village Recycling is going to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Governor Bill Lee and implement the "Safer at Home" policy for our staff and organization. We will NOT run any recycling collection routes for the next two (2) weeks from April 3, 2020 through April 17, 2020. We are deeply concerned for the health and safety of our staff and customers and believe by following the executive order signed by Governor Bill Lee requiring all Tennesseans to stay home, we will help to mitigate the risk caused by COVID-19. While we are considered an essential service, our employees can be exposed and potentially spread the COVID-19 Virus by touching recyclable materials, in route. If that were to happen, we feel we could become part of the problem not part of the solution. We sincerely appreciate your business and hope you know this decision was made after serious consideration. We will continue to update you as the situation progresses and will resume service as soon as we learn more from the Governor's office regarding the state of Tennessee and precautions to take with the COVID-19 threat. In the meantime, please bag your recycling material, which we will plan to pick up once we begin the normal route collection. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, we are making this decision for the best protection for our employees and customers of Green Village Recycling."
